Lipstick & Jellybeans is a beautiful, heartwarming zine about the importance of close platonic friendships. Kirsty and Emily explore and share their friendship through illustrations, lists and stories about each other, things they’ve experienced together, their bodies, their separate romantic histories, mental health, meaningful objects and dealing with a long distance friendship. Although the zine is primarily about friendship between the two of them, it’s wholly relatable and says wonderful things about friendship in a broader context.
