Zines are a flexible, exciting medium and a powerful method of communication, often raising awareness of topics outside of mainstream media. Following the screening of Persepolis, Ingrid Francis, curator at Salford Zine Library and Isobel Harrop, author and artist, will facilitate this practical zine making workshop inspired by the film’s themes. Participants will have the chance to create their own zine and explore techniques used to make visual stories.

This workshop is for those aged 16-19 and participants must attend the screening of Persepolis prior to the workshop.
