St George’s Women’s Institute’s activity is Zine Making with Katy Alston. Katy, an artist/illustrator is base in Shropshire and creates maps, 3D illustrations and book art using pen and ink, watercolour and lino-cut printmaking. Zines are small circulation, self-published works on paper. Which Katy is going to demonstrate and encourage members to have a go at making.

The competition for this month it is “A Picture Made from Autumn Leaves”

If you want to come along and see what the WI is all about and make new friends, a warm welcome awaits you. The first couple of evenings are FREE, and you get a cup of tea & biscuit! We meet the first Wednesday of the month 7pm at the Methodist Church Hall St George’s TF2 9JY
