You are and she is and I am and they are and we all are and no one is the typical girl.

Let’s bring together all the “girls” who shout and play guitar and fight for the rights of women locked up in Yarl’s Wood and make queer zines and kick footballs and rebel and don’t try to be very well and get upset too quickly and can’t control themselves and feel like hell and don’t stand by their man and scream and rebel. And everyone else!

Women for Refugee Women challenges the injustices experienced by women who seek asylum in the UK. They work to empower women who have sought sanctuary in the UK to speak out about their own experiences, to give a voice to women who are all too often unheard and unseen.
