Risographic Zine Workshop with Katie Guthrie
Free taster workshop with Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museums at Seventeen
No previous printing experience necessary. Age 13 +
This workshop will allow participants to learn how to design and print a DIY Fanzine for a real or imagined band using the versatile Risographic print technique. Seventeen was previously One Up Records, a much loved part of the Aberdeen music scene and the perfect venue to host Record Store, an exhibition featuring 36 Scottish artists who have created 12“records for their own fictional bands, displayed along with 7” singles, posters and merchandise.
Participants can bring something with them like a favourite ‘album’, ‘CD’ or ‘cassette tape’ cover or use the Record Store exhibition as inspiration.
