On Saturday 13th August Yetunde Adebiyi will release a photo zine of work documenting a monthly party and refugee fundraiser in Liverpool.
Yetunde has been photographing a regular late night party in Liverpool for the last two years. Every month young people and old, students and paper pushers, people with and without citizenship come together in a warehouse to dance, talk, watch films and help raise money for Asylum Link Merseyside. Every month Yetunde has dutifully taken both her cameras to record, with sober senses these moments of social interaction- the awkward first steps as well as the spectacular ecstasy of dancing with strangers in the dark.
Join us at The Well Space, 2 Roscoe Street where will be presenting Yetunde’s work and where you can pick up your copy of the zine.
