Hi I’m Melody! I’m a writer and performer and as apart of my solo show *gender not included, I’m running some creative writing zine making workshops for 14+ LGBTQ+ people, where we will talk about identity, representation, do writing exercises and create our own lil zines! It’s a safe space for us all to relax, chat, make new friends or just have a nice sit down.
I wanted to offer peeps a chance to be creative, try something they might not ususally do and just have a space to be comfy and yourself – as well getting a bit crafty and making some zines! (cos I love zines) All materials provided!
The event is 14+ however please do get in touch at melodysproates@gmail.com if you have any questions or have any concerns.
This workshop will run 5-8pm at Cobalt Studios in Newcastle. If you are under 18 you will need permission from a parent or guardian.
