Here’s a list of zine and DIY events coming up in the UK.
If you’re hosting or know of an event we should feature here, please contact us and we’ll add it!

Come along to the first Open Meeting of the Edinburgh Zine Library. Learn more about the zines, the zine library and how to get involved.
There’ll be a short presentation (15 minutes) about the ZIne Library Project, followed by a drop-in and a chance to chat to us about volunteering and other ways to get involved. Bring your own zines if you want to submit them, bring yourselves. You don’t need any experience, just an interest in zines, archiving, diy cultures, social history or libraries. The George Washington Browne room is located on the mezzanie adjacent to the music library. If you’re unsure how to find it – ask the lovely people at the library reception, they’ll be more than happy to help!
We want the library to be as accessible as possible so we, the Edinburgh Zine Library, operate a safe space policy throughout our organisation and all our meetings – you can have a read of it here if you’re unsure what that means: https://
If you have any questions about the accessibility of the meeting or the meeting room please just ask. We are in the process of checking wheelchair accessibility and will keep the page updated – if you do use a wheelchair or other mobility aid please just let us know and we can easily accomodate you. Although we only accept volunteers and members over the age of 18, if you have children you are welcome to bring them to this first meeting.
If you are unable to attend the meeting (we know festival time can be hectic, and that unfamiliar group meetings don’t suit everyone) but want to be involved please send us an email: edinburghzinelibrary@gmail
We look forward to meeting you all there!
