A zine is a handmade, small-circulaton publication. Zines have historically been a way for groups or individuals to express opinions that may fall outside the remit of traditional publishing.
Bradford Zine Fair 2018 is brought to you by three local zine makers, Munaza Kulsoom, Mike Barrett and Jean McEwan in collaboration with Bradford City Library

STALLS
20 stalls featuring the work of local and national zine-makers on the theme of ‘Hidden Histories and Activism’
TALKS
Hamja Ahsan – renowned artist working in sound, painting, sculpture, photography, performance, video, live art, zine-maker and author of acclaimed book ‘Shy Radicals’.
Darryl Cunningham – cartoonist and graphic journalist, author of ‘Psychiatric Tales’, ‘Science Tales’, ‘Supercrash: How to Hijack the Global Economy’ and, most recently, ‘Graphic Science’.
Kirsty Fife – is both a zine maker and an archive professional at the National Science & Media Museum. She will introduce their zine collection and how they collect within DIY cultures.
WORKSHOPS and more – come and have a go at making your own zine
