The short guide:
Some Pen Fight Press titles are sold at sliding scale to help distribute more zines into the hands of those that need them. This is operated on a trust basis. So in short; take what you need, but don’t take the piss.

If you’re wondering how much you should pay for a sliding-scale zine, please follow this guide.
Free zines – These are for people who would not otherwise be able to afford them. This is intended for folks on no or low income where buying additional luxuries would risk their being able to cover basic living costs.
Please note, if you spend a large amount on full price items and add lots of free zines on top just to bulk your order out, you are not operating in the spirit of this! (And if I’m in a bad mood I may not include your free items – you’ve been warned!)
Recommended price – This covers printing costs plus contributes a little towards Pen Fight operating costs.
Anything over recommended prices – Also helps to cover printing and distributing free/low cost zines. Please consider this if you are in a financially stable position. Thank you!
Organisational minimums – Organisations or institutions must contribute a higher minimum cost. If you are a grassroots diy organisation who doesn’t have the budget to pay the minimum prices please contact me and we will work something out.

Note: Sliding scale prices are only available on my webstore. I tried to do in person at zine fairs but found it just made people panic when it came time to pay, so zine fairs etc have set prices.
