SUMMARY:Seven Artists- Zine workshop
DESCRIPTION:Workshop for residents of Walthamstow \nStrength comes in many forms for every person. Come along to our zine making workshop\, where we will discuss and experiment with a range of collage techniques\, explore composition\, colour theory and typography\, so you the artists can begin to make decisions about how to visually communicate what Strength means to you. No prior experience necessary\, this is open to experienced and novice artists alike. \nThe group will produce a collaborative zine\, which Low will publish and distribute with Wynwood Art District. Each participant will contribute a double page each to the zine\, and will each receive copies. \nThe workshop is run by Abbie Smith\, a fully qualified Arts Educator based in London. Her personal work is mixed media and is often driven by mark making. Abbie’s work often starts with analogue photography\, and bridges out to printmaking\, collage\, painting\, sculpture and zine making\, informed by the processes and communication of an emotional response. \n*PLEASE NOTE*\nAs this workshop is free\, if you cannot attend please make sure you let us know so that we can offer the place to someone else.
