DESCRIPTION:Glasgow Zine Fest is an independent publishing festival that champions DIY art and empowerment. \nZines – self-made magazines – have their roots in punk and protest movements. The medium has become an accessible way to share art\, ideas and cat photos. This tradition continues at GZF with a programme focused on equality and engagement. GZF will feature a slate of events\, including screenings\, talks\, seminars\, and a series of practical workshops in zine-making. \nThe main event of GZF is a zine fair\, featuring collections from zine makers of all shapes and sizes\, as well as zine libraries and distributors. GZF’s fair runs Saturday from 11am – 6pm and Sunday 10am – 3pm. Come see what it’s all about!
