SUMMARY:Replay Zine Launch
DESCRIPTION:“Replay” is a limited print fan-zine about the combination of music and gaming. With articles about Jet Set Radio\, K/DA\, an interview with Azikazin Magic World\, and fan illustrations throughout\, this mixed media zine is bound to have something for everyone. Replay was created by Jodie McFadyen and has two other contributors: editor Rico Ibrahim of ANRI (a zine about cultural preservation and sharing)\, and illustrations by Glasgow-based tattoo artist and illustrator Senna Bogan. \nThis launch party is a chance to meet other people with an interest in gaming and the creative outputs that occur alongside it. We have a set from Glasgow-based DJ and producer Rahul.mp3. who runs an up-and-coming clubbing collective called “Scandal” focusing on Baile Funk\, Bhangra\, Jersey Club and HipHop. Rahul will be showcasing a gaming themed set using some favourite mentions from Replay alongside some other material more commonly seen at Scandal. \nThere will be free copies of Replay available at the launch\, on a first-come\, first-serve basis. The launch schedule includes a quick walkthrough by Jodie once people start to arrive\, and then we will transition into a DJ set. Come along\, read some\, dance some\, and chat! \nFollow us on Instagram @replayzine for some sneak peaks. \n!Attendees must be over the age of 18!
