DESCRIPTION:On December 7th\, we’re hosting a beginner-friendly workshop on the art of zine-making with Sophie Sherwood\, a Bristol-based photographer and zinester who has hosted workshops for other festivals such as Try This… Dorchester in Dorset – and is Papergirl Bristol’s own team leader! You can see Sophie’s art\, photography and zines at her website: http://www.sophiesherwood.co.uk/ \nFor this workshop\, bring along any ideas you might have about creating a story\, elaborating on diary entries\, creating original artwork in a zine or just creating your own scrapbook. \nSome basic materials will be provided – magazines for collage\, glue\, scissors\, etc – but bring any of your own materials along too. \n* * * PLEASE RSVP * * * \nIt’s free to RSVP.
