DESCRIPTION:We are very excited about a small Zine Fair happening in Reading at Sip ‘n’ Spin venue as part of the Easter Village Festival 2026. This event is being organised by Helen Westhrop @coathangerdolls with support from @bookfacearts \nAt this event there will be small zine stalls\, communal zine space\, zine making and socialising with bar and cafe. More to be confirmed… \nIf you would like to get involved\, please contact Helen @coathangerdolls \nThe Sip ‘n’ Spin (previously known as the Eldon Arms) is a pub in the backstreets of Reading\, a little out of the town centre eastwards. Built in the late 19th century\, since then the 3 bars have been knocked into a light\, airy space with a 21st century bijou atmosphere. @sip_n_spin_ltd \nThere is no parking at the venue but the Queen’s Road car park is a ten minute walk away. The Easter Festival is a popular local music event\, there will be locals and visitors coming and going to other gigs in the vicinity\, and the Zine community will be welcome. While the Village Easter Festival is a regular annual event the #rdgzinefair is new and we hope it will continue and grow.

Inspired by traditional and contemporary femme craft practices\, from stitching and mending to journaling and handmade objects\, the event creates a welcoming space where making becomes a collective act. \nOur collaborators have been carefully curated to share different expressions of femme craft: from sustainable clothing and handmade jewellery to punch needle work and textile arts. DESCRIPTION:GLASGOW ZINE FEST 2025 TABLE APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN! \nDo you make zines Do you want to show them off\, sell them\, and hang out with other zine-makers? Then apply for a table at Glasgow Zine Fest 2025! \nGlasgow Zine Fest is an annual celebration of zines\, community art and heritage. At the centre of it is our zine fair\, a market where makers from all over the country come to sell and swap their zines. Last year over 2000 people attended the zine fair across the weekend. \n2025 is the 12th Glasgow Zine Fest. This year’s festival will take place at the following times: \nSaturday 5th July\, 11-6pm\nSunday 6th July\, 11-6pm \nThis year’s festival will be held at Tramway\, 25 Albert Dr\, Glasgow G41 2PE \n(attention: former zine fair attendees\, please note the venue change! GZF will not be held at the CCA this year!) \nTo learn more about GZF please visit our website. \nIf you would like the chance to take part in this year’s zine fair\, please fill out the application form via the link in our bio!\n—\n🌱 About your table:\nTables will be available on the 5th and 6th of July 2025. You can apply to hold a table for one day\, or both days. \nSaturday 5th July\, 11-6pm:\nSmall table: £10\nLarge table: £15 \nSunday 6th July\, 11-6pm:\nSmall table: £12\nLarge table: £18 \nBoth days (Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th):\nSmall Weekend: £20\nLarge weekend: £30 \n🌳 Solidarity Funds\, Pay-it-forward\, and more: \nAs an organisation\, we’re attempting to build a fairer zine fest for everyone. If your application is selected\, you will have the option to contribute to a solidarity fund for tablers who are unable to pay for their own table. If you choose this option\, you will be given the option to pay an additional £10 (or more\, if you so choose) on top of your table fee\, with this passed onto a tabler unable to pay.\n—\nDeadline for Applications: 28th February 2025\, 5pm\nWe aim to send out decisions by the middle of March 2025 \nIf you have any questions about this form\, or zine fest in general\, please email hello@glasgowzinelibrary.com. DESCRIPTION:Grab your scissors and a sheet of A4: Belfast Zine Fair is back for an afternoon of swapping\, shopping and making. \nBooking is not neccessary for this event. \nSimply pop in\, explore the stalls\, stock up on new zines and support your local makers\, or join a zine workshop in The Crescent’s Café area and make your own zine to trade or keep. \nIf you are a zine maker interested in trading at the Belfast Zine Fair\, apply for a stall at tinyurl.com/zines2025 \nTo protect the health of Zine stallholders\, traders and attendees are asked to wear masks while in the Studio space. Masks will be available from the Belfast Zine Fair volunteers. \n  \nWhat are Zines? A zine is a small\, self-published booklet. Zines are generally limited-run and are often handmade and hand-distributed by their creator. Common zine topics include activism\, art\, how-to and pop culture/fandoms\, but they can cover any subject under the sun. They are an offline way for a creator to share their thoughts\, creations and interests. \nPaperxclips is an independent\, queer-owned and operated bookshop\, barbershop\, coffee shop and community space in West Belfast.
