LGBTQ+ Events Series: Zine Workshops

Join us for a Zine Workshop at St. Cecilia’s Hall Museum as part of the LGBTQ+ Event Series with Heritage Collections
About this event
Join us and learn about our collections and LGBTQ+ records across Heritage Collections at the University of Edinburgh, and make Zines on any theme with our material!
This will be a fun and relaxed space for Zine making for any experience level, and open to LGBTQ+ individuals and allies.
This is a free event with materials provided, and attendees can take home their very own Zine.
The event is held at St. Cecilia’s Hall Museum, and attendees are more than welcome to explore the Museum outside of workshop timings.
There are tickets available for either a morning workshop session from 10:00 – 12.00, or an afternoon workshop session from 14.00 – 16.00. Tickets are capped at 15 people per workshop.
Accessibility:
The venue, St. Cecilia’s Hall, is wheelchair accessible. There is an accessible lift that will take you to the events space.
During the workshop, Heritage Collections staff will introduce themselves and their work and the records provided for use in the Zines. Verbal follow-along instructions will be given by staff members at the start of the session, with written instructions provided. The event is informal and will be a relaxed safe space for creative time.
Quiet spaces will be available during the workshop.
On arrival, the team will direct you to the workshop event space.
