Lunchtime For the Wild Youth is a music fanzine where Russell re-visits albums from his ’80s youth. Musical memories, beloved bands, visiting record shops and radio, musical press, and recommended listening. Illustrated by his daughter Robyn – who I’m told gets paid 50p a drawing for her work (a bargain, frankly). A proper old-school fanzine, with no computers involved – just typewriters and cut ‘n’ paste. Features Echo and the Bunnymen, The Cult, Pop Will Eat Itself, The Mighty Lemon Drops + many more.
