We welcome back Laydeez do Comics for their March meeting, with guests Corrine Pearlman and One Beat Zines. Free, booking recommended This Show and Tell showcases a wide selection of photobooks from the library collections. The photobook is a book of photographs compiled to represent a photographer’s work. These publications often represent themes and concepts in a photographic narrative, and provide an alternative platform to display and disseminate images beyond the format of an exhibition. GWL has a fantastic and diverse zine collection dating from the early 1990s to present day ranging from music fanzines, Riot Grrrl, feminist and LGBT+ zines, and even zines about zines!
